"Very poorly maintained we arrived 2 hours after check in time and room was partially ready no towels, shampoo or soap. No staff around to help, all curtains have mold, bathrooms not clean. The property is beauriful but needs upgrade, proper maintenance. In the pictures they show stove therefore the villas have no stoves. "

"Blue Bahia is a cozy place to stay. Rooms/condos are rustic but rural beach suitable. Management communication is excellent and aims to please. Housekeeping & maintenance do an excellent job. Ii would say this is off the beaten track abd is ideal for people who are adventuresome and prefer to avoid the big all inclusives and the clutter of touristy shops. The on site restaurant had good service, really nice service staff, and good food. Do try the soursop iced tea - it is not on the menu, so ask...

"When completed this will be an excellent property. Last tower was being built so at times was noisy as well as construction debris was nearby. Pool was excellent and front staff excellent and friendly condos are big,bright and roomy with lots of closet and storage. "

"Ocean One was a dream. Beautiful condos and very clean. Luis the property manager was very friendly and was able to get us a private driver to get us to and from the airport and also on a tour of the Island. Highly recommend this place. "

"Oscar and Denis (sp?) were very sweet and welcoming! Place was very close to the beach and safe. It was high up enough to see the beach but not a real water view - I did not mind! The owners were good about not overusing water but the room had a clean filtered water to drink. The water is hard there so there was some buildup on faucets, utensils, etc.. A/C worked great! Bed was comfy :) The pool was lovely! The kitchen could have used a few updates in terms of cutlery and such - it was comfy...
