"Staff receptionist was unhelpful on arrival, Night porters where really good. Room looking like it been a store room previously and just made into a room not clean and shoddy."

"Only stayed one night but found all staff were exceptionally helpful and professional. Our room was furnished in a modern stylish fashion and was spotlessly clean. The view from our balcony was exactly as one would wish ~ panoramic span of Eastbourne seafront. Whilst being extremely close to the beach and sea, the double glazed windows and sliding door were so effective that there was virtually no noise entering the room. Would not hesitate to recommend The View Hotel to friends and will...

"LIKE THE OVERALL LOOK OF THE CHATSWORTH FROM OUTSIDE, RECEPTION AREA WAS CLEAN. "Very good location, well maintained, very clean rooms and bathrooms, helpful staff in breakfast. Just that there is no car park, not easy to find a free car park within walking distance."
