"Lovely spacious room"

"Nice plqc3"

"Perfectly situated in centre of Exeter. Staff were friendly and very helpful. My friends and I would definately stay here again."

"It was a wonderful, yet too brief, one night stay. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Our meal in the informal dining/pub options was nourishing and delicious. The room was clean, large, and bright. We were able to get a room facing back garden and with views. A big pot of tea and a freshly pressed coffee were very nice at breakfast. Local walks on the moor, and to the quarry & rocks and were fab."

"Spacious with a substantial bar and dining room, centrally located, opposite Exeter Central station with train, bus and taxi connections to Exeter St David's."

"The room was lovely and the offer of a free drink in the bar in exchange for no housekeeping is clever. Such a good idea. Unfortunately the wedding in the hotel on Saturday night dominated all the communal areas of the hotel which meant that we couldn’t have the nightcap in the bar we were hoping for, as well as there being the thumping of the music from the wedding in our room until well after 11pm. "The staff so helpful"

Excellent buffet breakfast. We had two 3 course evening meals, beautifully cooked, good service. Rooms a little dated, smallish bathroom but had everything needed. All the staff were cheery, friendly and helpful --we had a problem with the TV, the receptionist came up and sorted it straightaway. A very...

"Well, we understood why our stay was such good value. The hotel is due to close this weekend! The state of the property reflected this. Dirty carpets, watered down bathroom soap, unclean decor, radiators etc. the breakfast we paid for was “adequate “ at best. All in all , it was not an experience I wish to repeat! The staff however were helpful and friendly."

"The staff were very attentive and provided an excellent service"

"Janet and Martin were the absolute best hosts! From the moment I arrived to the moment I left, they were so attentive, helpful, and a true pleasure to be around. This was really one of the greatest vacation stays of my entire life, and that's due to the dedication of Janet and Martin as well as the cozy, warm atmosphere they've created at their inn. Janet made the most delicious breakfasts and always made sure the guests had what they needed. When I arrived it was late and I wasn't able to find...
