Definitely do not stay here in the summer and even if you’re coming up to ski in the winter, pay the extremely high prices to stay somewhere newer."

"Amazing old school Japanese hotel. Built by a railroad company almost a 100 years ago; the train you take there was built to get to this hotel. Artwork from the 1600’s on display. Staff shook my hand when I checked out. Even had beautiful stationery in the room; your iPhone spellcheck doesn’t even recognize that word anymore"

"小布施見にマラソンの前泊に利用しました。 温泉でしっかり身体を整えて、湯上がりにはアイスやデトックスウォーター。サロンで心地よくおつまみとお酒を好きなだけいただきながらテレビやゲームも楽しめました。 そして、朝４時の出発時にバナ ナを用意してくださる。施設の老朽化は否めませんが、メンテナンスとおもてなしで申し分ない時間を過ごせました。"
