"Room was very dirty. Pillows had stains on them. The carpet had stains and the walls were peeling and had stains. The silicon around the sink and shower was dirty and had mildew. Dead flies on the window sills. Drawer inside the bathroom was laying on the floor. Rising damp on the bathroom ceiling and the bathroom fan was dusty. Grotty room overall. Breakfast was nice and the staff were nice and friendly."

Das Frühstück war in der normalen Übernachtung enthalten. Für 70 GBP mehr konnte man das gesamte Spa- und Wellness-Angebot nutzen und hatte noch Mittag- und Abendessen inkludiert. "Staff were lovely"

"Stayed in the loft double room for 3 nights. The room is quite rustic and not massive. It did have an en-suite shower room. However, it does need some updating as the sink is cracked and the shower and tiling quite dated. Staff were all very friendly. Breakfast was top notch, plentiful and extremely tasty."

"The property is old and quirky, our room was spacious with many pictures and ornaments in the room, the cleaning/housekeeping team need to be more thorough with cleaning of picture frames, lights and fittings as there were big cobwebs hanging from picture and ceiling. The staff were excellent and very helpful. We would go back to the hotel again."

"From the outside it looks tatty but go in it's well looked after. Our room has a refurbished bathroom with a large shower,bath and toilet all new. The menu has a good choice of courses. It has a large outside area for seating. Also they have live music in the evening with different themes."

"I found the owner to be kind andchelpful. My thoughts: The Cottage is directly next to a busy road, which l did not know. I had to park in a tiny space in front of the cottage and luckily had a small car, very tight parking with heavy traffic hindering any manourvres. The room and Cottage were quite dated, perfectly clean, but expensive for a basic 1980s type decor. The shower over the bath was either extremely hot or very cold, l tried to find a warm temperature but never did. I was disapointed...
