"Very nice breakfast and hotel staff really friendly and helpful. Rooms nice and clean although building itself seems a bit old with creaking floors. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were a nice addition although in need of a revamp. But overall excellent value for money"

"Tired old dump. Tired exterior. Dirty linen cages dumped on car park, no air con, small uncomfortable bed. Low quality inedible breakfast and undrinkable coffee. Bottom of the market tired old dump."

"TV remote was generic so it did work properly, I was told it was due to customers sealing the original ones, not very helpful reply though. Soap etc hard to dispense, if at all. Poor quality bathroom, with parts missing from the shower and tap and broken tiles."

"Stay clear! Don’t know when the photos were taken but it’s not like that now! We arrived at house and knocked door to get access to lodge… no answer! Just a faded note we couldn’t read and guttering falling around front door. Anyway thought we would go to lodge to see if we could find anyone only to find mouldy doors, cracked dirty render, rusty cars in parking area and piles of junk outside every door to lodges! Hence we left and booked a holiday inn which was good! I’ve asked for a refund...

"Beautiful clean room , for an old building the creaky , slopping floors were as expected. Very well stocked breakfast but I wasn’t sure where we were supposed to eat it so we went back to our room so perhaps trays should be provided? My only problem was the wedding / house side , I think it confusing. Even though the staff were very friendly, I felt in the way the next day after check out as the bridal party were setting up for their wedding. Perhaps an area could be set up for non wedding...

"WiFi code wasn't obvious but minor. Other than that lovely room with tons of facilities. Good pub with lovely cobs and beer etc Would stay again when in Stourbridge!"

"Kept waiting outside the property ,taken up to room had to ask for the room key.Given the outside door code verbally ,why not give it on a card ?? Lousy area ,wouldnt stop there again."
