"Room was clean. 2nd floor a bit hot and humid in common areas. But not in the room. Staff was great."

"This place was really ran down.So when you walk in the front door was broken off the hinges decor, dirty, messy holes in the walls, dirty linen This place just felt unsafe… smell like marijuana smoke everywhere in the hallways on the street even in your room, but what I will say is the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. That is the only plus about this place everything else is a no go. Do not stay here at all."

"There’s no way we can adequately describe how wonderful a place this is! My husband’s first words were how big the cabin is. Pictures don’t do it justice. It is obviously beautifully and very thoughtfully laid out. There’s the sleeping area, but also a whole living room space as well. We had a good time reading, playing guitar and studying in front of the beautiful window! Loved that we could get up and make a cup of coffee right away without leaving our cabin. So many thoughtful touches to make...

"My 12-year-old son and I loved our stay in the serenity loft. It was the accommodations closest to the bathroom and shower house and very centrally located to all the farm has to offer. Jim greeted us when we came and made us feel very welcome throughout. The serenity loft had utensils, knives, plates, bowls, glasses, tea cups as well as some measuring cups and storage containers. "Cabin and property it is on is clean and well maintained. The walking trail is part of a local park so there are occasional walkers passing by on the trail. Overall it’s a good solid place to stay unless you intend to venture out beyond a one-mile radius. The surrounding area is repressed and comes with elevated risk as you pass though it. Crime rate statistics for Henderson are elevated compared to other areas in NC and I wish I would have researched it a bit more before bringing my family...
