"Friendly staff and clean room"

"Nice place. Very clean. Good water pressure. Lol. I enjoyed the art throughout the hotel. The rooftop bar area is really cool. I didn’t try breakfast at the restaurant. Only coffee to go as I was otw out."

"The hotel was located in a great spot and very clean. The staff was also superb and very helpful. Parking was located nearby and easy to access. Overall, it was a great stay. However, I did find it somewhat ridiculous that housekeeping only visits every other day. For the amount of money I paid to stay here, I expected housekeeping to visit daily. Also, the flat sheets that were used in lieu of a fitted sheet were not big enough for the beds so you ended up sleeping on the mattress. ...

"Arrived at 10pm. People sleeping on the street. Only street parking, valet was $55 per night. Asked security outside if my car would get broken into if we parked on the street, he replied he couldn’t make any promises. Continued to check in, as soon as we walked into the room we were hit by a wave of odor. We decided to stay else where. Staff was nice. Hotel is not giving us a refund. Very disappointed."

"This hotel is a former 1900s YMCA, across a side street from the grand old Union RR station. Our king bed room was clean and cozy; bath was also, with great water pressure. We appreciated the complementary and substantial evening snacks and beverages. After a long day of driving and touring the Gateway Arch, it was pleasant just to enjoy the hotel. There was a nice pool and hot tub in the lower level, though we didn’t use them. Staff was very helpful, and parking was adjacent and easy to use."

"The room did not cool optimally. There’s a wooden insert over the AC unit for esthetics and it interfered with cooling. The air blew up into the curtains and made my boyfriend sneeze all weekend. We kept the curtains pulled open or pinned against the wall. Rooftop bar was so nice but could be soooo much prettier. So many updates needed everywhere. Not to mention, one night our bill was $50+ for 5 drinks. Next night, different bartender 2 (of the same) drinks were $38! Vodka soda and rum and...

"My friends and I had 2 rooms for a girls concert night. upon arrival 1 of the rooms was real hot, they let the front desk know before we left for the evening. When we got back after the concert the room was still hot. They called again and were told nobody entered the room because they were not there. Then were told that it was not a quick fix and there were no other rooms to switch them to. It sounded like they already knew the ax was broke. They could have gone to another hotel, but they...
