"Nice view. Staff was not available when I was ready to check in. Our room smelled like sweaty gym socks and the hotel is rundown. Breakfast was the barest of bare minimum. Would not recommend."

"Not a bad place to stay but definitely not as nice as the photos. The basics were very clean in our room, but there was a lot of dirt or food debris on the wall in a few spots, the bathroom and the window shades. It would have been a great spot to bring dogs and the front desk folks were so nice. Overall not a bad experience, just a little worse for wear of what I expected based on photos."

"The man running Penny's diner and the hotel front desk gave my room away "to railroaders because we have a contract" was very rude and thought it was funny with his friends that I had driven from steamboat for.my room and there wasnt 1 for me when infact it was paid for . Resulting in me sleeping in my car due to no refund and no where else to stay with my son in the hospital. Will never reckmen this hotel to anyone. Very disgusted with the whole situation a reservation should have been up...
