"I have stayed at this hotel several times now. The female owner/receptionist is so kind! She recognizes my face now that I have stayed there so many times. If you need more towels or washcloths you just have to ask. The hotel room was clean no bed bugs or anything. The hotel itself is run down and could use an upgrade but then that will make the prices jump. Currently the daily rate is very affordable. The office is accommodating if you need to stay an extra day or if you need to check in early...

"The views, the serenity and quietness of the area, the simplicity of the home, and the amenities like hottub and firepit all stood out. The yard is very beautifully landscaped and maintained. The ease of access right off a main road was nice too, as we did venture to explore other areas which were off the beaten path on lengthy gravel roads. The host was extremely welcoming and accessible if needed though we did not require anything. It was a great place to reset after the busy holiday...

"The house was perfect for our group of 5 adults and one child. Fish were active, even in December. Channel cats, bullheads, and largemouth all. The house is very well provisioned and the modern refresh was tastefully done. Great location and value."

"Host was OK. Amenities were good. Grass was at least 8 or 10 inches tall and definitely should have been cut prior to our arrival. Dew on the grass didn’t dry until late morning or noon and was kind of a mess getting everyone’s shoes and socks and bottom of their pants soaking wet while traveling to and from the dock"
