"The room was acceptable, but the soundproofing was terrible. People were stomping around on the 2nd floor at 12:30am. It was dark in the room and finding the switches were not easy. Some of the switches were taped shut. Yes, really! The soap was hard as a brick. I picked this place on the "high" ratings...over 1,100 of them. Not sure how that happened. It did have a few positives, however. The parking lot was well lit. The bed and temperature in the room were okay."

"Okay"

"It was nice and clean with comfortable beds."

"Wasn't too bad for a 2 star hotel. Kinda clean, no bugs. The staff came banging on our door an hour before checkout time, then immediately tried to open the door before waiting for a response. Thankfully I had the deadbolt locked. Then when I asked for late checkout because we checked in at 1am, she was rude. We probably won't be coming back."

"Clean property. Nice staff. Great parking. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Quiet."

"There was not a lot of hot water. It was consistently warm, like the hot water heater needed to be turned"

"Breakfast was good. Check in was good and gal was helpful. Room was noisy, water and cooling etc. Pillows were poor, small and lumpy."

"Breakfast is really good! And food table are clean and staff members are very nice.. The only thing confused me is why they charged an extra $20 after I paid the booking online in Full .."

"Mattress was okay, but not as comfortable as I would have expected for a Hilton. It seemed thin. Overall, the experience was pretty good."

"All the above. No complaints. Stay was very pleasant and enjoyable. Would use a recommend this hotel to anyone else coming that way and have to stay overnight."

"The Rose Cottage was so spacious and quiet and Robin was very friendly and accommodating with requests. She helped with dinner recommendations and shops around town. I would love to come back here again!"
