"The Ashwood Inn is a lovely place to stay in Central Huron. It’s very close to Grand Bend, Goderich and Bayfield. Many of the best beaches on Ontario’s West Coast are just minutes away. I would highly recommend staying here as the rooms are spacious, it’s very quiet, and the staff were very helpful."

"The Inn is quaint and has so much history, but it is need of some TLC and updating. The gardens and front entrance needs weeding and trimming. There is no elevator and the stairs have carpeting that is worn through. Our bathroom had an old, deep Jacuzzi tub with a wooden step to get in it. There was no bath matt which made it very slippery. It was almost impossible to get out of. We used it only one day if our two night stay. There was no storage in the bathroom - just a bench and pedestal...

"The rooms and carpets were sooo dated. The room had a fridge and it work well the AC worked also. The room had very old furniture and old blankets. Visible dust and dust bunnies around the back of old wood furniture. Its right in the heart of the square. Worth the price I guess."
