"This was great space for our large group of friends. The kitchen was well equipped so we were able to cook meals with no problems. The beds were comfortable in all rooms and having a bathroom in each bedroom was amazing. There was a ton of space for us all the hang out together, or spread out throughout the property. I would stay here again!"

"Clean, spacious, and perfectly located! Quick trip to the river chute and downtown shopping and eats! Backyard view of the river was stunning and we loved spending time in the kitchen! Heads-up for soft bed lovers…the main bedroom mattress was very firm. Still a great time and house! "

"Enjoyed the site and would love to return soon. I found it sad that all communication was digital and was not able to speak with a human. I asked for early check in and never got a response. Also, it seemed like there were two corporate entities, Vrbo and Vacasa, complicating the issue of “who should I call?” As 3 septuagenarians we needed extra time, especially for checking out. All in all, great!"

"The Exchange was a lovely, nostalgic home environment for my out-of-state guests; perfect location, meeting our needs.My guests did have a few hiccups with the additional bedding options provided. However, the guests suggested some, hopefully, useful feedback which was very openly acknowledged through excellent communication with Ron Henry.All stated that they would definitely stay at The Exchange again in the future!"

"We loved all the space and open concept of the dining area. Lots of room for family to get together and hang out. We would stay there again. The pool was cloudy so that was a bit of a bummer, but all and all a great place for a large family."

"We were a large group in town for my brother’s funeral. My sister in law’s house was too small to entertain so many family members and friends and the McQueeney house was perfect. Only 10 of us stayed overnight but it couldn’t have been better. Close to the funeral in New Braunfels and close-ish to Fort Sam Houston. It was beautiful and comfortable and well appointed. "The house had a beautiful view of the water and the nice homes across the lake. The outdoor space was incredible with all sorts of water toys. I enjoyed using the new griddle while watching the kids be kids. Fishing wasn’t great, but the kids had a good time reeling in some small pan fish. We would definitely stay at Opa’s Haus again!"

"One of the coolest homes I have stayed at. So many activities and different areas to hang out, plus the river in the backyard. I need to book this place again without any plans just to hang out at the house!"
