"The hotel was on the beach and convenient to our travel plans and local restaurants. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel parking garage was too small for two vehicles to drive through at the same time; lot was full. There were two elevators for a 6-story hotel that were very delayed. So, many people were forced to take the stairs with luggage in hand. Just an ok experience."

"The room we stayed in smelled of mold really bad. They were supposed to get someone to look into it but they never showed up. House keeping never came to clean our rooms the three days we were there. We had to track down some extra towels. They also charged us for parking for three day although I self parked."

"Fairly new property! My only complaints are: No microwave in room. However, one will be delivered upon request. No ice bucket. However, remember to get one at check-in. The pool is too small to be used by customers of both hotels: TruBlue, and Homesuites by Hilton. I was not told upfront that there is a charge for parking of $20.00 a day."

"This is a great place to stay. It is clean and comfortable. There were no photos of the inside of the condo, but it is spacious with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, small deck, washer/dryer, nice kitchen and living room. Ours had three tv’s and a pull-out sofa. The grounds, two pools and one hot tub are well maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful. Beach access is directly across the adjoining road (Seawall). "Though we enjoyed our family trip as our boys visited Galveston beach for the first time, our experience with Holiday Club was lacking. For some reason, the master bathroom toilet was left uncleaned with old dried up feces and urine. The most devastating part was almost half of our trip was spent without power. "It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The food at Opus was great. The only thing that was annoying were the doors to the rooms were not soft closing so heard alot of banging shut. "For a LaQuinta, this location was disappointing. While WiFi is offered, good luck getting a signal. They have “smart” TVs that offer Netflix and Prime, but the signal strength is so bad you can’t use it. Our biggest complaint was with the breakfast. No options whatsoever.
