"Great location - in walking distance to ferry. Nice, small private beach. Very small, minimalist rooms that are good for a short stay on the island. Updated furnishings but still an older motel - rooms have a smell; step back from the shower water when someone flushes the toilet or you get scolding hot water, etc."

"The property location was perfect! It is just a walk away shops, restos, sites like the lighthouse. We had fun just going around the place. The staff were very helpful so we felt really at home in this property. The room we got was facing the main road which had a pub/bar in front. It was noisy until after 1AM so we had to call the staff about it. Good thing they reported this to the police to quiet down the area. "Just came back from our stay here and have to say that we were a bit disappointed. This is definitely not one of the cheaper options to stay at on the island and so we had high hopes when we booked our stay. We've been coming to the Vineyard for years and have stayed at a number of different establishments. This was by far the biggest disappointment. That being said, it wasn't all bad. I feel like if given the opportunity they might be able to change our opinions as the facelift they gave...

"Was upstairs attic type bedroom But small and very clean. Excellent shower. Issue was when we went out the first night for a wedding and returned the dirt to the building was locked. Had received no indication how to open it. When I called they answered right away and was fine. Didn’t see anyone at reception the 3 days 2 nights i was there"

"This is such a dainty (in a good way) property. The color schemes, as you walk up to the property, are very uplifting. Our room was in the main building on the second floor. We were glad a staff member was available to carry our luggage up the stairs. There are no elevators. The reception staff were pleasant. "I have stayed here four times and the rooms are always clean, comfortable and well maintained. The location is excellent and on street parking is available."

"We enjoyed our stay. One odd thing was the porch light stayed on all night, so it was kind of strange that you couldn’t shut if off and it glared in the window. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. It’s a good place to take family as it has tennis courts, an outdoor pool and a golf course. Rooms are nice and newly renovated."
