"The room was well equipped and clean. The breakfast was good with a wide variety of food. The staff was friendly. We had 4 rooms for 18 people to go to Knoebel’s. The rooms were quiet and had a lovely view of the mountains. The price was reasonable. Everyone was happy with their room. I would recommend this hotel as a budget friendly, clean place to stay."

"Fairfield is a beautiful hotel, especially when compared to others in its class. The long rooms are spacious with large walk in showers. Our bed was comfortable, the room was quiet and dark. Complimentary breakfast Sunday morning was good. There were ham, veggie and cheese frittatas along with turkey or pork sausage, hard boiled eggs, biscuits and gravy, lots of condiments and the usual waffle, bagels, muffin and cereal assortment. Coffee is good and you can get tea in the evening, really nice...

"Unfortunately I had the room across from the entrance to the reservation desk an every hour someone went in or out of the office letting the door slam loudly, not allowing for much sleep."

"When we went to check in the girl was rude n told me the smoking room that I reserved was unavailable. However after telling her to cancel she then said well let me see if house keeping wants to clean it. Then we had to wait 15 more minutes for the room to be cleaned. Get to the room and the floor was not vacuumed, cobwebs everywhere,discusting stuff in the tub drain, dirt an inch thick behind the nightstand. Toilet ran every 15 minutes all night and the curtains didn't close all the way. Beds...

"The original hotel.desk person was not friendly at all! Never smiled, never really looled at me! Horrible customer service...I booked 2 rooms with 4 people in each and we didn't have enough towels and had only 1 tiny bottle of a shampoo, conditioner, and lotion! 1 tiny for 4 people? That's crazy! I went down to ask for more, and he made me feel bad for asking!!! He was absolutely terrible at his job!"

"As others have commented, the appearance is of an old-style motel, but it's exceptionally well-maintained and clean, plus super affordable! My room was very large, with two supremely comfortable double beds, a round dining table for two, a desk, microwave, and fridge, and even with all that, there was plenty of open space. Luggage rack included, and I appreciated being able to park right in front of the room and having therefore to move the luggage only a very short distance."

"Check in was good. I asked for 2 queen beds and nonsmoking. I was told king bed but then was the said we have double beds. We took the 2 double beds. This was a room without the ashtray, but definitely a smoking room. The room absolutely smelled of smoke but linens did not. We put the AC on 61 degrees and heavily disinfected the entire room. The light switch was broke, there was a hole in the wall from the door handle, the sink cabinetry looked stained and dirty, the toilet and tub were...
