"We rented the whole house and overall we had a good time, but probably wouldn’t rent here again. The house was not very clean when we got there. Luckily we brought some cleaning stuff so we cleaned it up and felt better about it. The one side had small gnat looking bugs all over the ceiling when we arrived as well as in the bathroom on side B. I assume because maybe the cleaning people or the people before us had the door open and they flew in, but it was kind of gross that the cleaning people...

"The house is larger than it appears in the photos and has everything you would need. We were in town for our daughter's wedding and we filled the house with the Bridal party and our family. There is soo much character everywhere in the house. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were large, the kitchen had every amenity I could ask for. Our POC for the house, Megan, was soo accommodating. The wedding date shifted by 2 months when the military had other plans for her fiancé, and we were...

"What an amazing stay! The house was super comfy and so cute. So quiet and peaceful. It was the perfect getaway from hustle and bustle. We swam in the lake both at the house and also at Gaston day area. Ate at Suka sushi and it was fantastic! The owner was extremely responsive and checked on us at arrival. The owner also recommended some antique store and I got some sweet finds. Definitely a stay again kind of place!"

"Lovely, well-appointed property, very clean and well-laid out. We cooked at home and the kitchen was very complete. We found that we didn't need the golf cart, despite renting it on advice of the reviews. Elderly grandparents and toddler were able to handle the walk and the sandy "beach" is nicer than the photo. Minor negatives: You must remove your trash at the end of your stay (the dump on our route was closed at that time) and the electronic lock was malfunctioning (could be user failure)....
