If you are traveling from the United States, especially with children who are used to air conditioning, do not stay in these apartments during the summer. There is no air conditioning, and the only solution offered was an old fan. We barely slept because the apartment became unbearably hot at night. "While the hotel location is excellent, the rooms and general spaces are very clean, and the staff was helpful, I found the in-room amenities lacking. No coffee maker, no kettle, an extra charge to have your room cleaned, and very little in the bathroom. One would expect a four star hotel at this price point to have those amenities. A perfect location for families, not so much for a romantic getaway."

"Great position on the Lake with easy access into Luzern, CHF4 each way. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with standalone Aircon which proved useful during our visit. Be aware most room do not have an unrestricted view of the lake due to a property in front of the hotel. Breakfast is taken across the road at the old hotel, but is good. The restaurant is in the same location across the road and we had a reasonable meal there. There is also a good Brazilian restaurant nearby. Be aware...

"One of happiest and most memorable holidays to date, thanks in no small part to this wonderful hotel! We felt we had one of the best rooms in the hotel (on the 2nd floor with a large balcony looking towards the beautiful valley and mountains beyond), and the room provided everything we needed. The bed was particularly large and comfortable and had no end board (important for me, being 6’3”!). We took half board, and the food was of a consistently high quality.
