"The Retreat at Candler’s Mountain is exactly as represented on the website. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The area is very near everything you’d need in Lynchburg, but feels secluded and is extremely peaceful. The hosts anticipated all the information we would need regarding the rental, including advising us of an internet outage before we were even aware it was out.I highly recommend this property if you are visiting Liberty University and the Lynchburg area."

The shower was spacious and bed was soo comfy after a long day on our feet. Full kitchen & laundry were beneficial in enjoying home cooked meals at night and washing clothes before coming home. "There are no outside pictures which I would assume was intentional. This is a single wide trailer with an unkempt exterior on a piece of property cluttered with old cars and debris. The comforter in one room had stains all over it. There was no soap for showers . Which has been a given in all other properties I have stayed at.Old trailer but it was as clean as it could be. Living room does have cute furniture."
