"The hotel location is perfect - underground parking across the street for a reasonable price and walkable to all of the marina area and the many stores and restaurants in the area. The staff was second to none!!! Try for a room with a view as there is no outside amenity area. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of choice plus an la carte menu. "

"The Whales Bay hotel is highly recommended. The place was very nice and clean. We enjoyed swimming in the pool and even got into the jacuzzi for a few minutes. The location is nice also as it is out in a quieter area but still only about 25 minutes t Ponta Delgada. The only thing missing was a nice breakfast."

"Tolles Feriendomiziel. War alles so wie beschrieben. Leider waren die Fenster der Wohnung und die Scheiben vom Pool schmutzig.. Die Couch hazze Flecken. Das Frühstück war leider nicht sehr abwechslungsreich. Dennoch haben wir uns wohl gefühlt."

"Une expérience parfaite de A à Z au sein de l’établissement Lusitano. Un accueil très chaleureux, avec une mention toute particulière pour Romeu T. pour son incroyable gentillesse et ses conseils. Le petit déjeuner était de qualité avec des produits variés et locaux, la chambre très confortable avec un équipement idéal pour pouvoir manger sur place au besoin. Et pour les amoureux de chevaux, ce grand plus d’avoir un centre équestre au sein de l’établissement dont notre enfant a pu profiter et...

"Absolutely 5-star gem of an accommodation! We arrived early morning from Newark and were warmly welcomed by the staff, they stored our luggage and did everything they could to get our room readied. Over the next few days we went cliff diving, swimming, trekking, sightseeing and enjoyed a tremendous variety of delicious Portuguese cuisine and were given excellent local tips on weather/tides/whale sightings and more from the extremely informative staff. The amenities were brand new and worked...

"We had such a wonderful stay in São Miguel! The hotel was beautiful and very comfortable, with plenty of great food options nearby. Paulo and Claudia were especially kind and helpful, which made our experience even better. Highly recommend!"

"Stayed in Villa 3 with a few of the ocean . The access to the fruits and vegetables in the garden made our meals even better. So fresh . The bed was very comfortable. The manager was very attentive if we had any questions. The information document on what to do and where to eat made choosing our activities much easier . Thank you . Recommend 100%"

"Estuvimos muy agusto en este alojamiento. El apartamento tenía todo lo necesario y estaba muy cuidado igual que su entorno, piscina y jardines. El personal muy amable, en especial Ana con quien tratamos. Nos dió todas las recomendaciones necesarias para visitar Sao Miguel. Repetiríamos sin dudar en este alojamiento."

"Weitläufige Anlage mit extra viel Charme und wirklich außergewöhnlichem Ambiente, die Bilder im Web werden übertroffen, sehr freundliches Personal, allerdings keine Rezeption - dafür sehr schnellen Kontakt und Austausch via whatsapp. 15min vom Flughafen und Hauptstadt aber im Grünen und ruhig. Zentral gelegen für Ausflugsziele. Hervorragendes Frühstück. Würde sofort wieder dahin gehen!"
