"Best hotel ever !!!"

"The Ann Stevens House was a short stay. We went to the Daytona 500 about 26 miles away. It was quaint with antiques placed in our 2nd story room. The mattress was rather hard, but not horrible. There was of plenty of parking and the room was very clean. The host is very nice and accommodating. My only negative comment is that the stairs, that looked rather new, were rough cut, unsanded and unfinished. My husband got a pretty large splinter from the banister. "

"The staff was professional. The gym is extremely small. The EV charger was NOT working. The breakfast was nice. Coffee is always available. The hotel is extremely noisy, not well insulated? You can hear others talking and definitely the highway outside. "

"A disappointing stay at what was expected to be a charming antique hotel. Upon taking my first shower, I discovered that the towel provided had two large holes and visible black fingerprint marks. This immediately raised serious concerns about cleanliness and quality control. The bathroom window was extremely dirty, appearing as though it had not been cleaned in years. "My husband is an evangelist, and we travel to the area for almost a week visiting friends that are Missionaries. This Inn was more pleasant to stay yet than a Hilton or Hampton.. friendly staff that goes above and beyond, the room was clean. The property was clean. The pool area with a view of the lake was charming.. if I had to say one thing negative about this day, it would be that the pool was not heated or that they didn’t offer a Jacuzzi for cooler temperatures. Honestly, there is nothing...
