"Friendly staff and a nice warm breakfast made this an excellent place to stay for the family."

"We booked at a fair price. Location was excellent for our vacation plans. Room was comfortable but lacked a lot of insulation between the rooms. Could hear water running in adjacent room in wee hours of the morning. Did not have an elevator which could have been difficult to navigate."

"Right by the highway, very loud as cars go by, said breakfast available(really just coffee), water leaking from fridge onto floor, stain on the blankets( made me wonder when they were washed last."

"The motel was clean, it was nice parking right in front of the room. It was spacious, although the shower was a little tight. The towels were very thin. The check in was smooth, but if you needed something it was harder to find someone to help you. It was a cute, retro motel, and the history of it was fun, especially since we were there to visit the redwoods. I gave it 4 stars because the beds weren't very comfortable. Other than that, it's great for a one night stay"

"The photos on the site were very misleading. The room was dirty, hair in shower, toilet crooked, no amenities and the 'staff' is a virtual kiosk. I literally cried. I can't think of anything worse I've spent $230 on."

"Room was clean but it is outdated. Location was good but the only bad was the price. Its a 50$ a night hotel but was charged 180$. The breakfast area stinks so bad as well as reception."

"Tiny room and dirty floors. Mold in the bathroom. Very expensive due to it being the 4th but was not satisfied"

"This hotel was super overpriced but so DIRTY. I’ve never wanted to leave a place so bad. There were leaves in the clean sheets and the comforters smelled of smoke even though its was non smoking. The floors looked and felt as if they have never been cleaned."

"Super friendly staff but overall with the key card issues and the price we had to pay for the holiday weekend we definitely wouldn’t go back! The breakfast was included with the deal but it was hit or miss if the key would work to get into the restaurant/hotel room. The staff had to fix my cards and issue me new ones several times. Kids loved the pool."

"If Moby Dick were sent via Morse Code, that would best describe the constant, low-level noise in room 125 (in the back corner of the property). We asked that they try to figure it out and were told it was coming from some equipment outside and along the back wall of the motel. Other than that, it was fine and as expected for the location and price. Nice to have another bed and pullout for the kids! "

"It was a good stay overall. As a solo traveler the area felt a little sketchy and I didn’t love the open breezeways. Bed was super comfortable and room was clean. Staff was really nice checking in"
