Peaceful Retreat - Lake & Mountain Views - Private Pool

This spacious house sleeps up to 12 adults and children in the main home (*and there is also an ADULT ONLY - Private Modern apartment FLEX SPACE that can be rented for an ADDITIONAL COST, where 2 more ADULTS can stay. Ask for more info if interested. The last several pictures are of the apartment). This is a wonderful space to spend any season with your family or friends, there’s always lots to do.

With its breathtaking views of Douglas Lake and The Smoky Mountains the home is the perfect place for your next retreat. VERY RARE, LARGE PRIVATE OFFICE with panoramic views to make the work day fly by...which helps make working from home time not too bad! Wifi throughout to keep you connected if needed.

High style luxury provides 2 amazing kitchens that are fully equipped for making those delicious meals your whole family or group of friends will always remember. Also, a large theater room, outdoor grill, a salt-water *heated pool and spa, extra large lounge deck, 2 fire pits, and plenty of space for guests to relax and rejuvenate. Your group will also have plenty to do nearby such as hiking trails, boat, jet ski, kayak, and paddle board rentals, golf, water parks, amusement parks, shopping, horseback riding, white water rafting, and lots of antiquing.

This house is perfect for 8-10 adults, for retreats. And the sleepers can accommodate children or a couple of smaller adults. We allow up to 12 booked persons total in the main house (and IF THE FLEX SPACE IS RENTED...then there is allowed 14 Total, NO EXTRA GUESTS ALLOWED ON PROPERTY…NO EXCEPTIONS.

NO SMOKING ANYWHERE ON PROPERTY.

We have held nothing back in getting this home ready for your visit...come see for yourself what sets The View apart. We take good care of our guests.

Wonderful place to stay and enjoy a pre 50 birthday with family. From the call from the owners right after booking to checkout. We were treated with kindness and was given abundance of information on the property.Great place to hang out, use as a base to see Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Asheville NC, and so much more.Great for hiking, swimming, relaxing, and family fun for all ages.Bring your walking shoes to just navigate the home lol.Highly recommend!

We took our family of 10 to this beautiful home for Thanksgiving. It looked like a fantastic place and the experience was even better than fantastic. The home speaks for itself with the view, the amenities and the cleanliness. All the needed items and instructions were there to make our stay perfectly relaxing. First trip with infant/toddler grandchildren

What an excellent place for our first family vacation with grandchildren!! The house was perfect for our family, and the layout made it easy for young children to sleep/nap while the adults played games, watched movies in the Theater and enjoyed swim time (a bit more relaxing). The house was well stocked with everything we needed! The hosts were responsive and helpful when we arrived and had questions throughout our stay. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

This property was absolutely amazing. Although we only had our family of four it can accommodate quite a bit of people comfortably.The pool and views were incredible. The area was quiet at night and all of the little details were handled.The kids were entertained and we enjoyed family movie night every evening! Perfect vacation getaway

Breathing taking views, beautiful spa like pool, plenty of space in the house and fully equipped updated kitchens are just a few of my favorite things. Other outstanding things are the peacefulness found just by sitting and enjoying the view out to the lake and the smoky mountains in the background. One room in particular was amazing, is the room upstairs by the pool table. What a view especially at night with the moon over the lake. The hosts were so very helpful and always on call if needed. We had a wonderful vacation, no complaints at all!

Relaxing for big family vacation!

This was a last minute switch in vacation plans and it was what our family needed. The home was comfortable, nicely decorated, many gathering spaces, perfect lake views, and inspiring spots inside/ outside the house to meditate, pray, read, and/ or do yoga. The pool was huge along with the hot tub. Many amenities were provided from corn hole, board games, floats, pool table to 2 coffee bars with a bag of locally roasted coffee beans (nice touch from the owners). No direct access to the lake except through a community trail that is somewhat overgrown and not easy to find. Manicured landscaping and in an established neighborhood. The theater room was a hit for the 17 year old boys! Using recommended Chef Jamie from the area was a hit and the food was delicious. Have to give the owners credit for providing 2 full kitchens and a bar, ALL appliances were provided (even 4 ways to make coffee)! Overall a great place to connect with loved ones and just relax together.

50th Wedding Anniversary

This was the perfect place for our family. The hosts were amazing! They were so helpful and such a blessing to our family. The views are incredible from almost every window in the house. We have never had a rental with everything you could need. They have thought of everything. It’s spacious and a room for everyone’s needs. The house was clean and decor was beautiful. It’s close to so many attractions. The neighborhood was very quiet and friendly. The downtown is full of history and fun shops. Five star for sure!! Thank you Mike and Kimberly for your hospitality and sharing your beautiful home with us.

Perfect family getaway

This place exceeded expectations in every way: clean, fully equipped kitchens, including a great ice maker and two coffee bars. The movie room was perfect for our group - from kids to adults! The views were exceptional, and there were plenty of comfortable sleeping spaces with homey touches, like sound machines in the rooms. A whole house sound system and outdoor cafe lighting made for special nights at the pool and hot tub. TWO outdoor fire areas and an absolutely sprawling floor plan made for tons of space for everyone. We did not want to leave! Kim was responsive and helpful, helping us making sure the kids were safe around the pool - an alarm system and special door locks let us sleep soundly. This place was absolutely perfect. The hosts know how to do things right, taking no shortcuts. Would certainly stay again!

Family Getaway

Last Minute Vacation

We luckily found this place just a few weeks before our vacation. Gave plenty of room for spending time with family. Kids loved the pool. We watched some movies in the theater room. And plenty of table space for board games together as well. The location was within an hour from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. So we also had a good week having fun at Dollywood and other attractions in that area. The owners/managers were really great. They made sure to text or call with any information or issues. They made sure we understood the doors to the pools so that our kids would be safe and we really appreciated it. Would definitely stay again!

peacefulness out of every view

House was very spacious, plenty of room for large family. Pool was very private and what grandkids loved the most, in the evenings enjoyed movie in theater room. We would not hesitate to come back.

Beautiful view

Everything about the property was as advertised. We were very impressed with the accommodations. Everything we needed for cooking was available. The pool was fantastic and the view was amazing. We spent most start time swimming and relaxing outside on the deck. The area was very nice and we spent a day on the lake with a rented pontoon boat. We were closed to other places, but chose to stay close to the house.

The view.

Perfect property for multigenerational famlies. Great rooms for togetherness, but also spread apart enough for some solo time if needed. The view is spectacular from most rooms. Ensuite bathrooms with all bedrooms and a couple of extras. Kitchens have all your needs. Very comfortable beds and pullouts. Kim and Mike were very responsive to any questions. Beautiful Saltwater pool keep everyone busy in the off times when were we not out and about. Exit alarms for pool area to keep your infants and toddlers safe. Very quiet neighborhood and close enough to all tourist activities. Highly recommend this property. Only con was the week went by too fast!

Fabulous home!

We really enjoyed our stay at the View. The pool, spa, theater room, kitchens, and gathering spaces were ideal. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Kim and Mike were excellent hosts and very responsive to any requests or questions that we had, both before and during our stay. We were vacationing with our kids and five grandkids, ages 3-8, and everyone had a great time. We visited Forbidden Caverns and rented a pontoon but spent most of our time enjoying the house. The kids and grandkids also took some hikes, and visited the Smoky Mountain Deer Farm and did horseback riding and visited the petting zoo. We grilled out and ate most of our meals on the deck which was wonderfully outfitted for our big group. On our arrival day we had a meal delivered by Chef Jamie. It was very reasonably priced and actually fed us for multiple days. We also arranged to have groceries delivered by Food City through Instacart so that we didn't have to go shopping right away. I would love to stay here again. It was one of the best family vacations we have ever had.

Amazing home for multi-family stay!

The View home was the perfect property for my family and my sister's family (4 adults, 5 kids aged 7-1 year). The home is spacious, clean , full of every convivence of home and has one of the most functional and beautiful outdoor patio/pool areas we have ever stayed at. You can tell the care that Kim and Michael have put into the home, as it shows in every detail. They ensured that we had what we needed, and even took care of what we didn't know we needed (filling up the hot tub with more water mid-way through our stay etc.). I coordinated with Chef Jamie prior to our arrival, and he brought over the BEST BBQ that we have ever had. Everything was amazing and we had leftovers for days. The house is about 40ish minutes from different entrances to the GSMPN, as well as Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg etc. If you are looking to get away and relax, you don't even need to leave the house. Just sit outside overlooking the pool and mountains!

Relaxing

Wonderful stay on this beautiful property. This is the second time my family and I stayed at this home. This time with friends to do college visits and I couldn’t think of a better place to rent while touring University of TN. The amazing view, cleanliness, layout, theater and pool/hot tub are the reasons we have been back. Kimberly was great at communicating and making sure we had what we needed during our stay. We plan to visit again!

Beautiful inside and outside

This house is perfect for a big family it has everything you need and more very spacious and comfortable. Two beautiful kitchens with everything you need and the movie room is great and comfortable then there’s a pool table and games. The view is gorgeous and it’s a great place to relax no one wanted to leave. All of my family had a great time so worth the money.

Kimberly has every detail taken care of! She called the day after check in to make sure everything was ok. Every bedroom has something special, views, a soaking tub, or up stairs away from all the rest… They have an amazing cleaning crew! Once you enter the code to the front door your truly on vacation with a very clean home & the most AMAZING Views! Neither kitchen lacks anything! Fully stocked with everything & 2 coffee bars! Also want to send a shout out to Chef Jamie-his food was delicious! He was very nice & cooks a fabulous meal! Reach out to him you will NOT be disappointed. Theater room - awesome! Wonderful 5 star stay

We rented this expansive home for a family vacation. It had everything we needed and more. Two kitchens, multiple sleeping rooms, pool table, movie room, and a large pool with hot tub overlooking beautiful views of the lake and mountains. It had close proximity to the town with a good grocery story to stock up on essentials. We would definitely consider going back.

I would give this property 10 stars! I have stayed in many homes all over the US through VRBO but never one as magnificent as The View. The pictures cannot begin to depict the spectacular view. The house is laid out perfectly. We intended on doing more sightseeing than we did but our family of 14 was perfectly content enjoying the pool, hot tub, fire pits, and cozy spots throughout the home. The view was that relaxing. We barbequed and cooked the whole week and there was not a thing that was needed. At one point Kimberly was concerned that there were not enough spatulas and had an Amazon delivery while we were there! She was attentive throughout the process and made this well-needed vacation all the more enjoyable. The house was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. We were so sad to leave. We were able to enjoy the lake on pontoon boats and the rental companies were all close and extremely affordable. Thank you Kimberly for sharing your home with my family. The memories made will last a lifetime!

Fits The Name

It's called "The View" and it lives up to that. I think the first time we rented a house and the pictures didn't do it justice for just how great the place was. Outside of grabbing groceries 5 minutes away at the store, we spent an entire week just enjoying the pool and company. The kitchen's are absolutely stocked with everything you want and more. Owners were so nice and accommodating as well. Don't hesitate.
