"The property was amazing! It was so clean and perfect location for all our Black Hills adventures! It was super quiet and we put the fire pit to good use! We also used the grill and cooked all our meals in the kitchen as well which was nicely stocked with plates, utensils, pots, pans, etc. It was just the perfect setup! Also it was so nice it was pet friendly as my 22 year old dog was able to roam and wander the property and then warm his old bones by the fireplace. Also the laundry room was...

"The property was perfect for us with plenty of space (we had 3,but easily fits 6). We found it comfortable and relatively close to all the places we wanted to see - the monuments, Custer State Park. The owners were responsive and we appreciated the detailed instructions. I found the bed very comfortable too. It was well stocked. "

"This is a brand new cabin in Custer, very clean, nicely decorated and more amenities than we expected: mini fridge with freezer, glass stove top, kitchen sink, dishes/silverware, coffee, and some more that we were pleased to find. The listing was a little confusing as to the bed set up, so I'll clarify. There is a bunk bed with a twin top and queen bottom, a loft that's a twin, and a futon that's a twin. All bedding is included. The steps to get to the loft are not stairs, but actually shelves...

"We loved our stay! It was a quiet peaceful getaway!!"

"Hours, property, hosts, and location all exceptional! 5 secluded acres, big front porch, 3br2ba, high quality accessories, close to town, quiet, peaceful. Immaculate, comfortable, felt like home and we didnt want to leave. Absolutely incredible place and the owner was like a sister to me. We strongly recommend this place to others and intend to return. The owner recommended Black Hills Burger and Pizza and we got there at 11 when they open and it was full by 11;30am."

"Really enjoyed staying at Ponderosa Place. The cabin was clean, well appointed and comfortable. Stayed three nights and so glad I chose this place. Parking in front of the unit and within walking distance of the restaurants and grocery store in Custer. So convenient! Sure beats staying in a hotel room."

"It is a simple cabin with a modern interior and very clean with all the amenities we needed. The host was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. It was located nicely to all the places we wanted to go. We were only 2, so we did not use the loft which had low ceiling and sort of half steps up. "

"The cabin was clean, quaint, and had a homey feel. It was perfect for a few days away and would have been great for a longer stay, given the grill, fridge, and other amenities. We would definitely stay here again. "
