"Arriving at Orchid Harbor and taking in the view, sound, and smell of the ocean across the lawn makes all of the daily stresses of the mainland melt away. The century old house is charming, welcoming, and comforting. It feels like you are staying with good friends or family. With all of the living spaces, it feels roomy and cozy at the same time and wraps around you like a hug. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. There are two bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs....

"We had a very nice 10-day stay at this cottage. The location was great for us, the house was as expected from the listing, and we were generally very comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. The host was very friendly, accommodating and responsive leading up to and during our stay.The main area that could use improvement is the cleaning. There was some trash left inside when we arrived, and the kitchen—particularly the stovetop, sink, and some of the smaller surfaces...
