"Booked last minute to take the children to Alton Towers and the cottage was perfect 5 minutes to the park and Everything you need for your stay towels and bedding provided and central heating and well equipped kitchen with everything you need

"One night stay whilst visiting the races. Very convenient for centre of town and racecourse. Free parking at rear of hotel which was good. Skipped breakfast as it ended at 9.30 am. So popped over Wetherspoons instead only 2 minutes walk."

"Spacious hotel and grounds with tree lined drive, large gardens and plenty of parking. The rooms were spacious and airy, the bar/restaurant had a welcoming feel and the food was lovely. All the staff were pleasant and cheerful, made our Peak District trip very memorable. Highly recommended, will definitely be staying here if visiting the area again. "

I recently stayed at the Dog and Partridge Country Inn and really enjoyed the overall experience. The location is beautiful—surrounded by greenery, peaceful, and perfect for a countryside escape. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the whole place felt safe and quiet.

"We had a fantastic anniversary stay at the Stables. The room and bed was very comfortable and the highlight was the Japanese hot tub in the balcony! It was just perfect! We also enjoyed having dinner at the Bowling Green steakhouse and had breakfast brought to our room by room service. We look forward to staying again."

Old wall paper on the walls with marking on the paper , carpets need a refresh , small tv which needs to be replaced with a new tv on the wall.
Bathroom shower worked but needs a new shower as i couldnt properly turn the shower off after use.
Minamul tea facilities in room.
Veru poor standard of accommodation but it was quite cheap hotel .
Think i will book a different hotel next time"

Avoid room Nº1 at all cost, as it is very noisy, because so close to reception.

"We stayed for 2 nights and had a lovely time. Our large room had a comfy 4 poster bed, table, chairs in the bay window. Bathroom had large fluffy towels, lots of hot water. The views from both windows overlooked the well manicured grounds with benches, fabulous flowers in baskets and trees

"Fantastic place to stay food fantastic so was stafe and service .rooms maybe a wee bit to warm .also our room was right above a generator but it did settle latter in the night .didnt like the step at the bathroom quite dangerous .alarge mirror in the bathroom would have been Lovley putting all that a side i will be back and i will be recommending it to freinds ."
