"The front desk man was not very helpful when i asked him if there were any good pizza places to eat. He told me that we have a restaurant here so eat here. Meanwhile we found out later that there were pizza brochures beside the front desk. Also for the price of the room, they only cleaned it every other day which is ridiculous. There were teenagers running up & down the hallways making noise."

"I wish we had a tae kettle and some coffee in our room . But aside from that the room was beautiful clean and the bed was like a cloud . The pool was chaos with kids barrling down the water slide right on top of other guests without waiting and following safety measures and the parents were doing nothing . "The Commons Inn is in a great location, there isn’t a whole lot for amenities, the rooms aren’t very well lit, just one pot light by the door and a lamp by the beds, they were in the middle of renovations which contributed to the poor cleanliness but also the tub did have a film on it that we cleaned , it’s a fine spot to rest your head for the night in a good location but nothing glamorous, parking is difficult on the street and there is only a small parking lot out back that was $20 per night...

"There were no staff, it was self check in and there was coffee, water, juice and yogurt in the common area. The bagged “lunch” was in your room, it had an apple, orange, banana bread, chocolate chip muffin, small granola bar and a krispie crunch. The website did not say that the restaurant was not open 7 days per week. It is an easy walk to the grocery stores and local restaurants. "The property is dated. Had problems finding a plug in for my laptop and a place to charge our phones. Breakfast was included with our room charge and they kept running out of various breakfast items. First 2 days was Mushrooms and Eggs Benedict; at another point they started substituting french fries without prior notice for Breakfast potatoes and then hashbrowns at another point. They would forget to include items, toast was always unbuttered."

"Great location close to waterfront and restaurants. Very friendly staff. Rooms are clean, uncluttered and industrial decor. Bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. There is a bar in the lobby and seems to be a popular place. Food invthe restaurant was very good too. Really enjoyed our stay."
