"This rental was absolutely the perfect way to start out our Hawaii vacation. The gardens outside were absolutely beautiful and the view of the ocean couldn't be beat! We wish we had more time there to relax on top of all tourist stuff we did. The room was comfortable and matched the listing exactly.There is a short, steep hill that you need to climb to get to the unit (although you probably could have walked around the other house to avoid the hill) so be aware of you have mobility...

"It was a lovely stay. My family and I enjoyed the amenities. The house was stocked with extra supplies from soap, sunscreen, toothbrushes, and toys for the pool. Such a peaceful and relaxing neighborhood. The yard was well kept and perfect to walk around first thing in the morning. We will stay here again. Thank you for opening your house to us. "

"Lovely spot with epic view of Waipio valley. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and the property managers are friendly and helpful. The listing says the beach is just a 10 minute drive away … and it’s true. But you’ll need 4WD and nerves of steal. It’s certainly worth it when you get to the beach."

"This is our second stay at the property. It’s got a lovely back porch and view! We love walking the grounds and plucking fruit off the trees to sample!"

"Fantastic old Hawaii charm! A beautiful home with room for the whole family to spread out and relax. A great yard, a view of the river and waterfall, a sprawling lanai for meals and playing games. "The property is surrounded by farms, is a little farm itself with many fruit trees. Bird song will wake you and frog chirps will put you to bed. There is a pool, however most of it is very deep (》8ft) so not suitable for very young children unless you bring your own flotation devices or will be within arms reach of your child who is learning to swim. The location itself is about 15 minutes outside Hilo, and is lovely, but there are no stores immediately nearby so if you plan on cooking or...

"Stayed at the Outrigger on a girls trip to Hawaii and it was the perfect accommodation for us! The condo was immaculate and had all the amenities we needed. Lots of space for 5 of us. The location was so convenient- walking distance to groceries, restaurants, beach and shopping. Also an easy drive to other beaches and sight seeing. "
