Nestled in one of Corvallis’ most beloved historic neighborhoods, this beautifully renovated carriage house in Japandi-style (Japanese minimalism+Scandinavian design) with a deep respect for craftsmanship and modern comfort—just steps from downtown shopping and nightlife, the Willamette River, and Oregon State University.
You will be able to communicate with the owner via email, text, and phone. We are local and may even greet you when you arrive!
We are often in the main building or doing maintenance outside on the grounds, so we are often easily available if you have any questions or concerns.
The downtown district's "most elaborate residential example of Colonial Revival style," the award-winning Kiger House is old-money class from a bygone era, with modern luxuries and technological upgrades. The historic house is associated with a prominent Corvallis pioneer farmer, rancher and businessman. The downtown area also hosts several annual events, such as the Downtown Corvallis Wine Walk, which pairs local wineries with downtown retailers, and the da Vinci Days Summer Festival, an annual festival held since 1988. Additionally, the area is known for its public art, including over 30 colorful murals that are mostly within walking distance of each other. The Corvallis Fall Festival is an annual event, typically taking place in late September. The festival features over 170 art booths with thousands of handmade items, as well as two stages of nonstop live music and entertainment for the whole family.
Corvallis hosts several annual races throughout the year. Here are some of the notable ones:
・McDonald Forest 50K Trail Run: This 50K trail run is held annually on the first Saturday of May. It is a challenging race that offers great views and is organized by the Greenbelt Land Trust.
・OSU CVM Pet Day 5K Fun Run/Walk: This 5K run takes place on the same day as the McDonald Forest 50K Trail Run, also on the first Saturday of May. It is a fun event that encourages community participation and includes pets.
・CARDV 5K Fun Run/Walk: Held annually on the second Saturday of May, this 5K run is a community event that promotes health and wellness.
・Run for the Hills 30K, 13.1M, 8K, 2M Trail Run: This event, which includes a 30K, half marathon, 8K, and 2-mile trail run, is held annually on the first Sunday of June. It benefits the Greenbelt Land Trust trail fund.
・Corvallis All-Comers Track Meet: This track meet is held twice a year, on June 12th and June 26th. It is an opportunity for runners of all skill levels to compete.
・Corvallis Fall Festival Run: This annual event includes a 10K and 5K run, as well as a kids' run, and is typically held on the last Sunday of September.
・Condor 25K Trail Run: This 25K trail run is held annually on the first Sunday of October.

The Corvallis Transit System provides free bus rides to anywhere you need to go and the main bus terminal is just two blocks away.
Taxis, Uber, and Lyft can get you to where you need to go.
Corvallis is also a very bicycle friendly town!
Depending on the time of day and traffic conditions, it takes about 90 minutes by car to the Portland International Airport, and 45 minutes to the Eugene Airport.
Groome Transportation offers hourly shuttle service between Corvallis and the Portland International Airport (PDX). The closest shuttle stop is an 8 min. walk (.3 miles).

This studio is connected to an award-winning historical home that is on the National Register of Historic Places. Businesses operate in the main house during weekday business hours. We appreciate it if you do not use excessive noise during business hours.
This property is near train tracks with a train that runs by 2 to 3 times a day. We have gotten used to it and hardly notice it, but we apologize if it causes a disturbance.
There is a skylight above the bed. It's amazing to stargaze on a clear night. But in case you like to sleep in, we provide sleep masks to keep the light from disturbing your rest!
There is free on-site parking for two vehicles, as well as free (6th Street) and paid street parking on 5th Street.
No Pets allowed. Bringing pets can result in double the cleaning fee and cancellation of the reservation.
No children under 12 years old. Bringing children can result in the cancellation of the reservation.
Max overnight occupancy is 2, and all guest names must be included on the Pre-Arrival Form.
Violation of house rules can result in additional fees and possible cancellation of the reservation.
We also have 24/7 video security surveillance outside only. This is only for security purposes of the main property entrances, but is not in the entrance/patio area in the front of the studio, for your privacy.
