"We couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The cottage was just the perfect size and had all the amenities that you needed including a full kitchen. The hosts, Vicki and Blake, were super nice and quick to respond to our needs. The beach was only a couple blocks away which made it convenient and driving on the beach in our Jeep was a blast. Wildlife to include wild horses and deer are everywhere, even had a couple of black horses visit the cottage grounds. I highly recommend choosing this...

"This house made us into diehard Carova beach fans and I cant imagine wanting to go anywhere else in the world besides there, including this particular home. EXACTLY like the pictures, but better. All outdoor areas were amazing, decorated impeccably with seating areas and absolutely breathtaking views. From the adorable surfboard seating area on the 1st floor, to the hammock swing i never wanted to leave on the 2nd, to the screened in porch and open air area on the third, to the amazing crows...

"If you like a remote beach experience, this property is a great option. We set up on the beach, stayed all day, and regularly saw the wild horses on the dunes. The house was clean, comfortable, and we all slept well each night. We also enjoyed the hot tub!"

"The beach house is located a short walk off the beach in a semi secluded area with trees on left aide and 2 other homes on roght side of house and trees behind. The tree house and zip line were great. The house was clean. It does need some dishes gone through and added and or changed. The beds were firm but comfortable. The water did smell but that is to be expected with well water. All in all the house was great with an occassional horse sighting near by. "

"This was our first time to Corolla Beach and driving on the beach. We didn’t know what to expect with airing down and finding the house! The directions were great and the photos were exactly how the house was! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. There wasn’t soap in the bathrooms, but we did find the big bottle under the sink to fill them all. It was so nice having 4 bathrooms all with showers and a tub! "I had originally rented the place for Fourth of July. Very last minute as our rental home was booked.. even more last minute ours canceled and Josie was gracious enough to allow our friends to stay there in lieu of us. "Excellent remote location! We rented a 4 wheel drive Expedition and my daughter drove an AWD Terrain across the beach to get to the house. The house is awesome and you'll see wild horses everyday. The closest grocery store is the food lion in town so plan accordingly. The owners have the house stocked very well but book this house and enjoy the privacy and driving one minute to the ocean."

"The house was wonderful. We dont travel often because I am super nervous about accommodations being clean. This house was exceptionally clean. I was very pleased. "The place was as advertised. There was one lamp in the living room that's cord ran under a chair to a socket. The socket didn't work, so i rerouted to a hallway socket at night. Everything else worked perfectly fine. The beach was spacious and the house was nice. "
