Room was in good condition in a basement. Advertising said that we are renting a whole house. That is not correct - we were renting a room and detached washrooms. There are other rooms on the floor that may or may not be occupied. Also your entry to the room takes you through a main household livingroom. Finally, the room had no heating and my wife got sick. We did find an electric heater in the room, but could have prevented my wife's sickness if they told us about the heater in advance. Positives: Room and the whole are was very clean, and the owner is a pleasent person.

This was great value for money. Beautiful room with a lot of amenities. I had the whole basement, which had a separate bathroom. The mini-fridge and microwave were a nice surprise.

Quiet area.They're not always quiet both days, I was woken up around 7am they say to take off your shoes but dinner time and 7ish am you're woken with shoe/hard slippers?and loud talking it's like well I guess i'm up. Never once asked, how was everything Or if I needed anything there was no mention of a big dog.But they were pretty good at quieting it quickly.The little mini fridge would go off and on making noise throughout the night. The wifi was always kicking off but yes, it is a very big room with a really good sized bathroom I loved the Detachable shower head bed was very comfortable. They should have instructions on how to get the TV working. But I figured it out pictures are accurateVery clean

The location is close to shopping mall, transportation and is easy to find… The hosts are friendly, although we hear them sometimes we hardly ever see them…would highly recommend…

Very clean, large, comfortable bed, large bathroom, needs new pillows- very thin (not a big deal), easy access to room, very private. We will definitely use this property again.

Property was in close proximity to our destination. Is basically a clean, quiet room, with a private bathroom, in the lower level of a private home. Internet was weak and TV was limited to Prime.

Place is overall great. Location is really good and there’s easy access to downtown Vancouver. Only complaints would be that the advertising stated we’d have the whole place to ourselves, when in reality you just get a private room, but that wasn’t a big problem for us. Also would’ve been nice to have access to clean water, since all we had was the bathroom sink and my water bottle didn’t fit inside it. Other than that awesome!

NICE PLACE TO STAY

The room is as described on the website. The house is located in a very quiet area and it is very easy to get to Vancouver by public transportation. The owners of the house are very nice. I would have liked that for the 10 day stay they would have provided us with clean bed linen and towels so that we could change them. If I were to return to Vancover I would stay there again.

Comfortable but needs more equipment.

The room was adequate and clean but lacking things such as utensils, drinking glasses, plates, dish soap, dish towel etc. We also did not like entering through the host’s front door into their sitting room.
