"Hotel Heron is ideally located in the middle of Old Town Alexandria. Rooms were clean and bed was very comfortable. Kiln onsite restaurant was very good. We did have a couple issues with the room attendant who forgot to replace our wash cloths and made the bed with two top sheets instead of using a bottom fitted sheet. The sheet you laid was not tucked in so it slid around and got bundled up during the night. Annoying. Hotel’s valet parking is expensive so we used the Courthouse Garage...

"The best features of the Old Town Alexandria Hampton were location and price. Shops and cafes were within a mile radius for walking, and the Metro to DC and other sites was a couple blocks away. Other hotels in city centers are more expensive. This one may have been cheaper because it was a little tattered around the edges. Outdoor pool was covered with a tarp, mold was growing on the paving stones. To be fair, we were there two days before Memorial Day so maybe that would have been cleaned up...

"I expected so much more. Nothing special about this hotel. The worn furniture in the well used atrium lobby desperately needs upgrading. The breakfast and complimentary cocktail hour was a nice touch but expected from the brand."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Residence Inn at the Harbor in Oxon Hill. Breakfast was enjoyable. The atmosphere was a whole vibe. And they validate parking in the garage which is The staff, especially Tish, was so nice and pleasant. We recommend this place and will stay again. Also, we door dashed last night from Cadillac Ranch which is across the street. We are good, relaxed, and had a good Ole time."
