"The staff was excellent.. the rooms were clean . Seems that the management is disconnected from the hotel, and throw every problem to the staff. The hot water issue and the breakfast which wasn t great.. it should be the management / owners responsible to actually fix the proble and not just collect the money. But lovely staff and very helpful"

"The owner of the property let us check in early and check out late. She also provided a great breakfast every morning including homemade breads and fruit juices. She also helped us with our excursions and hailing taxis. Very nice host with pride of ownership."

"The Albemarle distinguishes itself in its attention to detail. Best shower I had in three weeks in Ecuador. Lots of hot water. Used books by the bed to read, board games...the list goes on. Plus the beachfront location is great with lots of bars and eating places within 5 min walk.Plus very attentive and helpful staff especially Samy at reception. "Lovely hostal on Isabella Island! I've stayed at 4 hostels in the islands and this one was by far my fav. Many lacked the social aspect, but here the owners have a lovely beach bar across the road where they hosted events (game nights, trivia, etc) which was great to meet other travellers. The rooms were spacious, shower was hot, rooftop area was nice. Only 1 item I disliked - 2 of the windows in my room were just screens at the top and couldn't be closed, so you could hear all the noise from...
