"Relaxing and quiet. The screened porch or back yard were perfect to sit and watch the day go by. The host was excellent, always responding within a few minutes. We definitely would stay again if we go back to the Valley for a vacation. "

"Located one block from Argyle St where the night life is happening. Not a place to stay if you are looking for quiet but definitely ideal if you are looking for a good time out with friends. Many dining & drinking options available within walking distance"

"When you visit Halifax, stay in nearby Dartmouth at Windmill Walk. You will enjoy a quiet neighborhood and a 10-minute walk to the ferry that crosses the harbor to downtown Halifax and the waterfront. Our second floor spacious apartment has large west and north windows. A small private deck is off the bedroom. This 1920s-era building is in great condition. Andy, our host who lives in the building, met us when we arrived and gave us a detailed orientation. He made us feel very welcome."

"Overall the stay was just what we needed. Only minor things that could be easily fixed by proprietors. The dome was luxurious. The wifi was lacking, which, had all the instructions for the dome not been youtube videos, we wouldn't have cared. Maybe have a booklet with all instructions available. The dome is surrounded by trees and gardens, it was lovely. Im curious why they wouldnt have a propane firepit instead of a circle of rocks to build a real fire. Propane generally insures a consistent...

"This property is exactly as posted. Location was perfect. The view was amazing. The host provided me with all the information I needed, direction to property, the code to get in. Gave us detailed information on accessing the property. We did not have any issues but she made sure to be available to us by reaching out to us on the day of arrival to make sure we received everything. This property was clean and well taken care of,"

"1970’s spacious retro basement suite. Lovely lake view and had coffee and wine down by the lake to watch the birds several times. Fun with the ping pong table too - what a nice addition. Was damp downstairs and dehumidifier was quite noisy. We still had a lovely time . "

"Great location. The spot was very clean and conveniently located to visit the waterfront. We had an issue with the AC and the owners were quick to respond and quick to come fix the problem. Communication was great and check in was very easy. Would recommend this place!"
