"Staff is friendly. The rooms are large and clean. The location is great. If you are scent sensitive then it is hard to spend time in the main area of the hotel because they spray this strong scent which made me ill. They didn’t clean the room the first day (we stayed 4 days). The room faced the courtyard and it was loud and hard to sleep."

"Everything about the Cat and Custard Pot was perfect. They were extremely welcoming offering advice and help. The room was spotless and had everything you needed. The evening meal was delicious. The basil linguine was the best pasta I had had outside Italy. We thoroughly recommend this place. "

"Triple room, spacious enough and nice and clean. Beds were comfy. En suite shower a little small but we were only staying one night in the area and this accommodation was value for money. Rooms were separate to the pub, it was nice and quiet and a free car park. "

"Very good quality for an affordable stay. I paid £70 for a room for two, and it was well worth it. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was pleasant. It was a bit of a walk to get to the room and there was no lift, but nothing too bad. The only downside was the reception. I wanted a late check-out and tried calling eight times, but no one ever answered. The front desk seemed mostly unattended, which was frustrating. Overall, a comfortable and good value stay."

"This has so far been our favorite Hotel along this 3 1/3 weeks trip through England. We love the location. Staff is warm heartedly friendly and the restaurant really good. And it is in convenient driving distance to destinations like Averbury, Silbury Hill, Kennett Long Barrow, Stourhead Gardens, Bath …"

"Really enjoyed our stay here and the area is very pretty and high quality.The room was great very clean and had everything we needed.Location was good as a stroll away were the main amenities with great shops bars restaurants and green spaces.
