Beaumont at Freycinet is truly magical - a much-loved family holiday home filled with retro charm and nestled inside the renowned Freycinet National Park. Built in the 1960s but recently updated, this 3 bedroom property has a warm and inviting coastal shack feel and offers guests an authentic “Tassie shack” holiday. Whether you’re longing for a relaxing beach holiday or dreaming of a warm bath and comfy bed after a Winter bushwalk, Beaumont is the perfect spot for your next Coles Bay holiday.
On arrival at this special property you will be struck by its unique location and peaceful bush setting. One of only a handful of traditional Tasmanian style holiday shacks located inside the National Park, Beaumont at Freycinet sits at the base of the majestic Hazards Mountains and enjoys a sunny, elevated position less than 200m from the start of the world-renowned Wineglass Bay, Hazards Beach and Mt Amos walking tracks. It is also only a short stroll from your doorstep down to the gorgeous Parsons Cove Beach - a hidden gem where you can swim, snorkel, enjoy some beach cricket with the kids or just relax and take in the stunning natural surrounds. With the feel of a private beach and still largely undiscovered, you will often have this stunning cove on the sheltered side of the Freycinet coast to yourself.
With an open plan living, dining room and kitchen, huge entertaining deck and floor to ceiling windows, Beaumont offers breathtaking views of the imposing granite mountains in one direction and stunning tree top and water views in the other. The house has 3 generous bedrooms each with a Queen size bed and sleeps up to 6 adults in comfort.
Given its location, quirky retro style and range of thoughtful extras, Beaumont at Freycinet is a great place to holiday all year round. The character filled home has lots of original mid-century features, but has been updated to provide all the creature comforts that make for a memorable getaway - comfy beds, cosy throws, squishy bean bags, hotel style linen, luxury bath products, board games to play, jigsaws to puzzle, wi-fi and Smart TV (for when its chilly outside), a reverse cycle AC in the main living area and electric panel heaters in each bedroom. A high chair and port-a-cot are available on request, and beach towels, bucket and spade and beach cricket set are all part of the family friendly Beaumont experience.
If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind holiday home in natural bush surrounds with privacy, stylish retro décor and a truly unique location within one of the world’s most beautiful National Parks, then Beaumont at Freycinet will not disappoint.
