"Was put in a room on the 2nd floor, air conditioning was not working & temp was unbearable. They put a mobile unit in the room but far too noisy. Ended up with 2 fans, not very good. No discount was offered for the inconvenience."

"This place is a little dated and in dire need of some TLC. A little time or money spent on the grounds could make this place amazing again, starting with the outsides. It is cheap enough to stay and the rooms although a little dated have great flooring all around including the bathrooms. The staff we interacted with were all friendly but they were a little off putting everytime we went past the reception there would be staff hanging around outside which made you feel uncomfortable, it was sunny...

The main gripe I had was how scandalous it is to charge almost £10 for parking per day on top of the room fee- it’s off a busy A road, it’s not in a town centre. Will make sure to read the fine print beforehand, wouldn’t book again on this basis."
