Florance OH Knights Inn

Breakfast was 30 minutes late because coffee wasn't started until after we had seated ourselves. One of their regular customers said that we would have waffles. After waiting quite a while, I asked about the waffles and was told that we should have booked into the hotel next door to get waffles. Although I told them we would be arriving late, (10:30), no one was working the check in desk and a sign was posted on a phone, telling late arrivals to dial 204, where the hotel operator lived. 30 minutes later she arrived and gave us our keys.

it was horrible. dirty sheets hair in the shower.yuck first time i felt dirty after i got up, only stayed one night of a two night stay. gave up the second night we paid for and got another hotel

Don't stay here

I would rate this hotel lower if I could. Checked in late because room wasn't ready. Pt things in the room an left for Reds game. Got back around midnight and there were no towels or toilet paper in the room note at front desk saying they didn't have access to these at night. Thank goodness for Walmart.

Nice room front desk opened late didn't get breakf

could not get coffee or breakfast before leaving as the room did not open up until a half hour after it was supposed to.

Worst room ever

The room smelled liked mold. I had to wash my clothes when I got home including my jacket which retained the smell. The wallpaper was peeling in the bathroom, extensive water damage seen in all areas including the hospitality room and the check in room. I even had a live bedbug crawling on my sweater which was placed on the table between the beds overnight. I left my backback outside for 3 days in the hopes of killing any bedbugs that may have have found their way in. I did not bother to complain since the entire hotel was in a shambles. I saved 10$ over Motel 6 which is vastly superior to this hotel on the same street. Never again!!!!!!!!!

The basics were met clean and comfortable great price for a room to crash for the night probably not great for family or longer stay.

not a good place to stay bring your own towels and wash cloths....no refrigerators in the room I was told the guest were stealing them so they took them all out of the rooms....was also told people were taking the towels and wash cloths...but u get what u pay for

Good location

It was quiet and safe , the heat was good , the facility needs some maintenance and repairs , customer service was fair. The location was very good , close to many stores , restaurants , freeway , highways and streets , easy to find location. I would like more cable tv options , the price was very outstanding . Overall it was a good location at a good price , the heater worked great , the room I was in needs some maintenace.

"Ehhh You Get What You Pay For"

Requested Non-Smoking room, was given a smoking room. Cigarette burns in blankets, holes in walls. bathroom door does not close. Toilet does not flush. broken tile in bathroom.

No Thank You

After waiting 20 minutes for someone to check us in, we find out we are charged twice. and nothing was done about that. So we get our room key and make our way to the room and the key doesnt even work. The lady from front desk had to open room with her key. There was no shower head. There was a hole in the wall. Our door didn't lock. Very Very Very unpleasant.

Just a place to sleep

If you need a cheap place to sleep-this is it. nothing fancy, no frills. If you are "high maintainance" Dont stay here,you wouldnt enjoy it for all that it is-just a cheap place to sleep

the absolute worst hotel i have ever stayed in in my life bar none. the key lock was broke to start. we came in about 2am door would not work. was refused entry by manager until morning and had to beg for her to let us in our room. then the front door handle falls off and then the bathroom door falls off the hinges. cigarette burns all over the bed, covers,pillow cases,and even the walls.just aweful!! i have been booking hotels thru expedia for years and never had any problems til now. i believe that hotel should be condemed and expedia should take them off there list. im telling you and warning you do not stay there........

Knights Inn Florence Kentucky

I realize this was a very affordable hotel. However, the pictures on the website of the hotel were quite a bit more flattering than what was there. The hotel was in a poor location of the city- the towel rack came off the wall when a towel was placed on it- One towel was available for three people. I had to get my own towels upon arrival- no washclothes were available. The so called breakfast consisted of watered coffee in an air-pot and stale bagels that were somewhat covered in a glass cover- however it was obvious they were not fresh There were no waffles avaliable as were advertised on the breakfast door The pool was ice cold- The room had a smoking odor even though we asked for no smoking The hotel lobby provided one computer for internet but I never did get to use it due to someone using it over the allowed period and the management did not assit me with this problem.The only positive thing is we only stayed one night- would never go back or recommend this hotel.is. WHoever is taking the pictures of these moderately priced hotels need to be a bit more current as the actual condition and services of the hotel. Sincerely, a not so satisfied customer of hotels. com

The price is nice but the place is gross! There were towels and sheets laying all over the ground as if the rooms were being cleaned (at 8pm when we checked in) the next morning...the towels and sheets were still laying there. I think this hotel is a front for some illegal activities! I would not stay here again and would not want anyone I cared about staying there either!

I wouldn't stay there again if I were dead.

This was the most horrible motel experience of my life. (As another reviewer said, the girl at the front desk was sweet, but that is the ONLY positive thing about this place.) The lock on the door was broken, there was a dirty wadded up towel next to the bed (I don't EVEN want to know), nail polish all over the counter, someone elses LINGERIE in the freaking dresser drawer, the trash cans out front had the full bags removed but left next to the trash can so trash was everywhere, and there were PILES of dirty linens heaped on the sidewalks outside the doors. They were all there around 9 pm when we checked in, and still there the next morning when we left. I won't even get in to the crooked shelves and broken towel rack and empty tissue box. Believe me, I took pictures. Worst. Experience. EVER.

when i arrived at knights inn they did not have a room for me because they failed to look at the reservations and had no rooms available. hotels.com did put me in another hotel with out an increase and was very timely and courteous. i appreciate all that was done for me by the hotels.com staff. will definetly book all future stays through you. have a good weekend

Absolutely Lousy- Will Pay More For A Better Place Next Time!

The parking lot had a huge pot hole that almost cost me a new tire. When I arrived at my room, there was a bag of trash tied up and left in front of my door. I had reserved a smoking room, yet there was no ashtray. On the listing for this hotel, they offer free WiFi- that is not the case. Only certain rooms get Wifi-ours was not one. The door to our room didn't exactly close all the way- it didn't fit the door frame. One of the chairs appeared to be taped together. The drawer to the dresser was broke and wouldn't stay shut. There was no hair dryer. The toilet ran every 10 minutes- making for very poor night's sleep. At around 10pm I was about to take a shower, and noticed there was only 1 towel. On my reservation I listed 2 guests. I called to the office to request another and the woman on the other end asked me what I needed it for. I told her there was only 1 towel and that we would both like to take a shower. She sighed as if I was bothering her and finally said I could have another one-IF I COME GET IT. I hung up- let my mother use the shower and I waited til I got home the next day. If you don't mind staying in a run-down dump- this is where you can stay for cheap. But I'd rather pay a little extra to get a decent looking room, 2 towels, a door that's secure, advertised ammenities, good customer service and a good night's sleep!

Two night stay

Would not stay again. Staff didnt know we were staying two nights tried to make us leave on Saturday when our check out time was sunday. Staff tried to double charge when I prepaid. Shower curtian moldie and cigarette burns in bed sheets.
