"A lovely hotel - excellent for an overnight stay as close to the airport . The staff were very professional and helpful / warm. The room is very comfortable with quality linen and a very comfortable bed. Also breakfast was one of the best I have had at a Taj hotel. The swimming pool let the hotel down - they are building next door and there was very little atmosphere around the pool area. It looks much better in the photos. Not a great deal around this area as it is situated in the business...

"Upon our arrival at the hotel, Siya welcomed us and allowed us to check in early, as we had just completed a long 14-hour journey. "The hotel is old, the service is poor, and it's far from Dubai Mall."

"Booked this non-refundable months in advance before the conflict in Dubai started; hotel and Expedia would not respond to emails or calls after initial discussions for a refund relating to the conflict or credit towards another stay - flights were already refunded. Hotel does not reply to any questions or messages on Expedia; had to find a contact on some online forum to even ask basic questions. Pretty disappointed with how staff handled responses but definitely learned my lesson for cheaping...
