"Snug and cosy are good descriptors of this old cottage. Yes, it is old,but it is very comfortable and the owners have provided just about anything you may wish for. Right in the town , and just behind the pub, makes it ideal if you want a meal or drink plus just a stones throw away are great cafe's and they make a mean coffee. Parking is out the back with a garage if you want to use it. That is a good idea on very cold mornings as your windows are not frosted up. There is a fire and ample wood...

"Amazing accommodation, comfy stay, great view from the room. Quick and easy check-in. No toiletries or tea/coffee/sugar provided- BYO. The place has no lifts and hence have to get all your luggage upstairs by yourself through the narrow stairs. The approach is a steep climb and may not be very access friendly for older people or with kids. "

"Will stay here again in future. Phil is very kind offering a late check out due to suddenly snow falls at Hotham. But we had to leave early to go to Beechworth."

Lacking light in the kitchen area, very hard to see when...

"The noise from people moving around upstairs is very loud, and its nearly pointless going to bed before the tenants in the apartment above go. The queen mattress, and at least 1 of the single beds in the premise need to be replaced. The couch is lounge is uncomfortable to sit on - this also needs to be replaced. "
