"Good location, parking was plentiful and appeared safe. Hotel room was clean as were the linens and towels however our room was above the bar and you could hear people chatting downstairs. The shower was small but functional, although the shower door was broken. Corridors to the rooms were tired and needed some tlc. Unfortunately we had to leave early so couldn't enjoy breakfast to it's fullest but the buffet bit was well stocked although some pastries would have been welcome as we couldn't...

"The property was very dated, with a need of a deep clean and decor update.
Carpets were stained and our particular room had a unpleasent smell.
Overall the property has seen better days, I guess this is reflected in a lower than average room price for the area.
Staff however were very friendly and although we did not eat a main meal, the portions looked generous and other guests appeared content.

"Had to ask for clean towels and coffee sachets.
Also had to ask for room to be cleaned and bedding changed after 3 days. So a 7 day stay only changed once.
Lights not working. Shower connected to taps so unable to control water temperature.
Shaving light above sink not working.
Towel rail in bathroom got dangerously hot and was held together with insulating tape.
A small step down to the room had no hazard warning tape or aluminaton, tripped over going out and fell down going in."

"Have been staying here a few days a week with work over these past 3 months. Stayed in many of the rooms, ate, drank, was merry, and also shared the disappointment of an English World Cup semi final in their beer garden.
Apart from the Willow Tree Birds having a fondness for pooping on my car, and the odd thing not replenished by housekeeping at times, my stays have been nothing short of fantastic. Having the microwave, fridge and utensils in room is an added bonus. Duncan, a pleasure...

"The actual property is great, located down a quiet laneway. Unfortunately, we came when it was around 30 degrees C. Sleeping upstairs only exacerbated the issue.
We stayed 3 nights, unfortunately again there was a party not far away with amplified band and singer (not very good) on our last night which droned on till midnight.
The property is very good, although I’m 193 cm and had to constantly duck my head when going into the kitchen/meals area. Well presented, well stocked."
