"The hotel and its staff were excellent. However, there was a major soccer game the evening that we stayed, and we were not able to park on the property, but had to park a mile away. The hotel staff said that they reached out through Expedia to send us at least two separate messages talking about the soccer game and that we would not have parking. We received two emails from Expedia, but no messages were actually relayed to let us know about the parking situation. If the hotel is going to reach...

"Very nice stay although we only booked 1 night. Lovely big room on the ground floor. Owner very welcoming and helpful advising where to find restaurants/pubs locally. Little bit far out of the main Royal Mile for us to walk but there is a bus stop right outside which will take you straight there. Lovely new bathroom. Would benefit from some shelving to put toiletries/toothbrushes etc on but this is just a suggestion more than a negative. Lovely stay overall."
