"The Ashville Guesthouse is a superb place to stay. I stayed here for four nights. The staff (family owned and operated) are friendly, polite, personable, and professional. It is a little outside of Westport, but close enough to everything. The Ashville Guesthouse delivers an exceptional breakfast for all tastes. I would come back here in a heart-beat. "This was our first time in Westport and was part of a roadtrip through Ireland. Westport was by far our favorite. The hotel had convenient FREE parking on site, rooms had all the amenities you needed and was in walking distance to the main shopping areas. Staff was extremely welcoming and the breakfast that was included with our stay was amazing. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay with this wonderful hospitality team. Yes, the lodge is in the middle of nowhere but that’s the point. Plenty to do in the countryside or within 15 minutes drive, and wonderful food awaits you upon returning. Not sure we’ll ever make it back, but encourage you to spend at least one if your Connemara nights by the cozy fires at the Lach Inach Lodge. "
