"We had a great stay. It was a city break with my two children and we really enjoyed the experience. The CoalShed has real character and was a great place to hang out with my kids and use as a base to explore all the great stuff on offer in Bristol. We loved the games facilities and the 'honesty bar', which is a great idea and was definitely welcome in the evening. The communal area is great for socialising with the other guests as well. "Staff were very good. Accommodation was all that was required and clean, apart from the 3 spiders in the bathroom. I guess they could have come in after the room was cleaned though. Breakfast was decent value although very slow to arrive and the eggs and sausages overcooked. The bacon bap was lovely and with a drink was also great value. A small concern was that one of the single beds had not been secured so it moved on the wheels when leant against. Overall decent value for one night. "

"I would stay there again. However it would have been nice to have instructions on how to use the appliances. Had to figure out using chatgbt how to use dishwasher and washer/dryer. Could have had more kitchen garbage bags. There was just the one there and no others."

"Staff was amazing. Our room was unbearably hot as air conditioning wasn't working. They brought us a portable ac unit and a fan. It helped a little but unfortunately not much. We didn't sleep well either night. But we would stay again if the ac is working! "

"Beautiful, well furnished apartment. Spotlessly clean. Well stocked kitchen. Loved the L'Occitane toiletries in bathroom. Very luxe! Great to have Nespresso Machine with pods too. So many great dining options nearby. Cool to hear students practising in the Uni Music School Building opposite the apartment. "

"A beautiful hotel with wonderful staff. Room exceeded expectations and we went for a balcony as the view over the Avon Gorge looking at The Suspension Bridge is stunning. A pretty faultless experience all round and highly recommended!"
