"Front desk not welcoming. Room had no microwave, no clock, the phone did not work. Our room was on the 5th floor farthest away from front desk. No luggage trolly in the building, we schlepped our luggage quite a distance. Could not bring our cooler to the room as a result. No working ice machine on our floor. Toilet would not flush properly... disposed toilet paper to waste basket instead. My end table was sticky. Fridge barely cool.
Except for that...the breakfast was good as was the...

"Guests were making noise in the lobby and outside until midnight, so I could not sleep well. I was told that they were part of a group staying at the hotel for a wedding. Even so, the noise should have been controlled out of consideration for the other guests.
Also, I was disappointed because the breakfast seemed to have been prepared with very little care."

"The parking lot was well lit and accessible. The bed was comfortable. We appreciated the location to Cuyahoga Valley National Park. And the room was cheap. However, the ratings didn’t match up to the actual room. The room needed maintenance, like grouting around bathroom tiles was missing and the carpet was dirty and sticky. The evening staff was slow to come to the counter for check in. I wish we stayed somewhere else for our multi-day stay."

"We stayed for 2 nights before meeting other family elsewhere. It was clean, the beds a little on the soft side, which I like. The staff was very nice and very thoughtful and helpful. Water pressure was good. It also had a little fridge and microwave and was in a great location with lots of places to eat nearby. Coffee set out in the lobby daily is a nice touch, even though I didn't have any. Ice machine worked fine. Didn't see a single bug, (and I check for them,) which is unusal even in pricier...

"Room was clean except for a huge stain on the bedsheet. The sheet was clean, but the stain was disturbing. Staff, especially in the morning were excellent. My husband and I flew in on a Wednesday night, and the shuttle picked the rest of my family up in the morning and brought them to the hotel. I would definitely stay here again if the stained sheet gets addressed."

"The property is downtown so that was really easy. The room was quite clean. Staff were helpful. Some of the food could be improved upon. The buffet breakfast was not wonderful and bar food was adequate. It would be great if they employed a Chef that was a bit more modern.
We also tried to find a charging station for our rental vehicle which was electric and the staff was unsure how to direct us.
I would say it's a good property for the area."
