"The River House at Claremont was one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. I am a huge Gone With the Wind fan and this property brought you back to the South prior to the Civil War all we needed were ball gowns to make it really authentic. The house was well appointed with the necessaries (toilet paper, tissues, and toiltetries). In addition the kitchen pantry had salt, pepper, flour and other staples. The interior of the house is amazing with much of the furniture handmade by the owner...

"The house was well appointed , quiet, and had a beautiful view of the water from the back deck. The home was clean, spacious and inviting. The host was wonderful to work with.Our group enjoyed spending time on the beach in the evening watching the sunset. I would absolutely recommend this property if you are looking for a peaceful getaway. We didn't take advantage of it this time but the area is wonderful to stay in for easy day trips to Busch Gardens or Colonial Williamsburg. "

"It was my first time going somewhere on a vocation and i was very satisfied with this place. Next time I will rent a second room to have the whole house to ourselves. The neighbors were good but with 3 ppl one area felt a little small so definitely need the while place next time."

"Nature trails"

"Went to check-in. Didn't have my reservations. Waited 50 minutes before the error was rectified. Turned out main office at Kings Plantation never sent my reservation to the resort. The resort had to message someone due to the fact the main office only is open until 5:00. I had reserved a cottage. This was not a cottage it was more like a duplex. We could here the people next door. The stayed up late and got up early. So we had prolems sleeping. Pool was nice."

"We stayed this past week with our two dogs, and it was a wonderful family vacation. We stayed in the Blacksmith Cottage, which was fully-furnished with everything we needed. The kitchen was clean and well-stocked with pots and pans, and the oven and fridge were great to have. The bathroom was clean and comfortable. The grounds were quiet and seemed very safe - we did hear the trains a few times, but with a white-noise speaker and some soft earplugs, it didn't bother us or the dogs at all. If...

"Perfect place for a couple nights as we traveled on to our next destination."

"Great location & wonderful amenities! You can’t beat the beauty of the river’s view and the woods that surround the property. We stayed with our two young sons and they loved playing outside, the arcade games, and the dock. The only draw back for families is not having an internal staircase, but it wasn’t too much of a problem for us. This is definitely more for a rustic getaway rather than a luxurious stay. It worked very well for our family of boys. "

"Gorgeous, immaculate home . Upstairs neighbors stomping around at 5:30 in the morning was totally uncalled for, woke both of us up."

"Just the perfect retreat! The house was delightful, comfortable and well appointed. We loved how secluded the property was and having a private beach to explore was fantastic. Our dogs loved the woods and playing on the river!The owner was so nice, easy to communicate with and gave excellent tips to make our stay even more memorable. We highly recommend a stay at Analog and hope to book again sometime."

"We had a great time. James communicated with me throughout and before our stay. Plenty of room for 6 adults and a big dining room table that seats 10 for board games. We highly recommend it.."
