"We loved our two nights stay at Melfort House. It was peaceful idyll that restored us somewhat as we were nearing the end of our road trip through Scotland. "The property was nice but felt like any little “extra” came at a cost. Hot Tub? You had to pay per person for 30 minutes. Have not seen that before. No laundry facilities as advertised and cake in drawing room was added to invoice on check out. Nice property but be aware of extras. "

"Great B&B . Everything we needed for an overnight stay in Oban before heading to the ferry to Mull .Very convenient and good fitness waking up the hill to the property . Taxi if not inclined to walk up hills . Really nice touch to have the breakfast cereals , juice and yogurt . Thank you ."

"I enjoyed my stay. My room was tiny, and so was the bathroom, but everything was clean and comfortable. Shower had great water pressure. I thought the staff went the extra mile to be helpful, and to provide upgraded soaps and shampoo, coffee and tea, and a breakfast bag with water, pastry and an apple. Plus, you can eat and drink downstairs at MacGregors. I signed up for a whisky tasting which was really fun! Whisky, music and stories. Made for an enjoyable evening."

"first of all there is no elevator which seems strange, as you have to carry your bags . secondly there was no air conditioning. the room was really hot and humid. we could not open the windows as it was right on the road with lot of traffic noise. a small fan was provided which was not helpful"

"客室:清潔で設備も新しめで良かったが、ちょっと狭い。日本のビジネスホテルより狭い。基本寝るだけなのでいいけれど、衣類掛けがカーテンの外だったり、荷物の整理をするのに少し不便に感じた。 スタッフ:会わなかった。 ロケーション:大型の駐車場が目の前で便利。地図上はフェリーターミナルの目の前だが線路があり回り込まないといけないので、期待したより時間がかかる。街自体がこぢんまりしているのもあるが、観光スポット、レストラン、カフェ、スーパーなど徒歩圏内にあるので便利。 その他:2泊したが、2日目観光して部屋に戻ってきたら掃除してくれていたようで、机の上に置いておいた水筒代わりのペットボトルが捨てられていた。掃除してくれたことには感謝しているが、Do not disturb の札がほしい。"

"Park in the railway station carpark. The accommodation building is first left in the carpark under the metal stairs. It's £24 for 24 hours parking but worth it as room and parking still is less than most accommodation in Oban which also do not have onsite parking. Onsite parking at hotels is rare to find in Oban and every where else's room rate is double almost, which is a lot more expensive. The location is perfect. I was on the ground floor. "We loved everything about this apartment, in a quiet buy super close to the harbor, 8 minutes walk, beautiful clean apartment with everything needed, fairly new and very modern. Highly recommend."

"The host was very kind. The room was clean but the furniture and bedding was very outdated. The bed had an older mattress and it was squeaky and lumpy. It could be a cute place if it was updated. The furniture was worn and old and not attractive. The room felt very sad to be in. The TV was from the 1980s and super small. "
