"This apartment is a great find! stunning views and large and well equipped. The pictures in the website do not do it justice! We loved just sitting on the terrace, having supper and looking out onto the lake. The host was exceptional in her communication and we found the apartment easily. We had hired a car for our stay, but you could easily stay here without a car. The bus stop is at the bottom of the road - 10 mins walk up/down the hill. The bus would take you all around the lake.Thanks Sue...

"Be aware the parking for this location is public parking and may not be available. If you are walking, the center of town is approximately a 20 minute walk and you share the road with vehicles. There is a walking lane, but at times there are drivers who drive close to pedestrians as well as areas where the walking lane ends. There are 2 roads to drive in and out of the area, I'd recommend inquiring about the route that is wider. The apartment had everything we might require and we were provided...

"We (family with two kids) had a very nice time in Le Tartarughe. The flat is nice and the view to the lake from the garden is very beautiful. Every day we had our breakfast on the terrace. "

Overlooking the lake the views were beautiful and we enjoyed the peace and tranquillity.It was a short walk into Menaggio for restaurants, bars and shops and just a few minutes walk to the ferry terminal for visiting other places.The staff at Lake Como holidays were pleasant, informative and very helpful We would recommend this and would happily return. "This property checks all the boxes for a great trip to Varenna and to explore Lake Como. It is in an ideal location, central to restaurants and shopping and close to the ferry docks. It was incredibly clean and well appointed with nice details, like coffee and basic herbs and spices and plenty of other amenities to make the stay comfortable. We spent hours sitting in the loft, taking in the view as well as exploring the town and other towns in the Lake Como are. Communication with the hosts...

"The views are incredible- lake facing with balcony off living and bedroom. It is a couple flights up so be prepared to carry your luggage. Only complaint is the WiFi went out - router not located in apartment and never heard back after sending email about it for two days."
