"It’s a Japanese managed or owned hotel. You can tell by the hotel entrance and gift shop appearance. There are onsens on site for men and women. Very well maintained. Breakfast was not included in our booking but we had breakfast there. The salmon set was very good. The beef curry was basically beef flavor without any meat. We were quite confused about it."

"The location is perfect, very close to main street Vancouver which right now is under construction. Short distance to waterfront area where there are new restaurants and very nice scenery. We checked in that night with the not so friendly front desk hotel staff. The others who are working the next night are nicer. The hotel cleaners are more welcoming than the front desk staff. The room is clean and the bed is comfy. FYI bring your own body wash. The breakfast is descent and the parking is ok...

"Second time staying here, a pleasant experience overall. Checking in was a bit annoying, since only the bartender could do the process, and he was unfortunately swamped with bar customers for a while. Not sure why another staff member couldn't take care of the process. Other than that, clean rooms, friendly staff, convenient location. Noise from the shows below isn't so bad, although noise from other guests in the hallways in the mornings can be a bit much, but not unexpected given the layout...

We used the valet parking, fairly priced at $46 per 24 hours. Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Water pressure in the shower very good. The complimentary breakfast featured three of those great waffle makers. If you want a specialty coffee there are several coffee shops within easy walking distance....
