"This was our first trip to the UP and with 3 kids and a large dog, we don’t travel light. I was a little worried not having a big discount store nearby but all that stress melted away when we arrived and all the little things were already waiting for us- from soap to dog dishes to marshmallows to extra TP, the house was fully stocked. "Nice little place to stay. Clean with all the necessary accessories. Close to everywhere we wanted to go!"

"Danielle, the host, was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was a great communicator and answered all of our questions, including providing spot-on recommendations. The house had all the supplies we might need, comfortable beds, lots of space to spread out, and beautiful views over the lake. This was an ideal location to explore Pictured Rocks and the surrounding towns. We would highly recommend The Pines!"

"Everything was as advertised. W I was working in the area and this was the perfect home base."

"Very cute cottage that suited our needs perfectly. We cooked meals inside and on the grill outside. We could walk two blocks to Pictured Rocks Cruises and a short drive to more than 3 waterfalls. We could park right near the entrance and keep our shoes in foyer to keep sand out. There was a park within walking distance for the kids. We would stay again."

"This cabin was incredible. The view was breathtaking. We will definitely be coming back. Wish we never had to leave!"

"Beautiful, clean, and nicely decorated cabin. The hot tub was clean and well thought out. I loved the twinkle lights on the cabin and hot tub gazebo. They gave great ambience! I highly recommend this cabin and will stay again the next time we visit the U.P. "

"This is a nice, modern, cozy cabin which is close to everything Munising has to offer. It is tucked away in a little clearing down a dirt road so you get the experience of being away from it all in the woods while remaining close enough to the sites. The stars at night were beautiful. The owners are absolutely wonderful. The caretaker was very kind and baked us cookies. The beds are comfortable, and the water pressure is good. The stairs to the loft are steep with low clearance, so best suited...
